Lots of disruption over the festive period for the people of Glasgow
There is set to be a lot of disruption this festive period, with a number of strikes scheduled over Christmas and New Year.
Royal Mail staff will stage a walk out on two days before Christmas - including Christmas Eve - causing huge concern for people across Glasgow and the rest of the country. Train travel will also be disrupted with further strikes scheduled during the festive season and into the early stages of the new year. Glasgow Airport With lots of people travelling to visit family and friends this festive season, there may be some disruption for those flying to and from Glasgow Airport. It comes after the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers rebutted the latest pay offer, resulting in a number of new dates of industrial action over the festive season.
