A developer plans to provide alternative parking after requesting to use a council owned public car park as a construction compound. St John's is being redeveloped, and is already the home of Aviva Studios and Enterprise City, so the ambition is to 'support the tenants who form part of the St John’s community' and focus trade at lunchtimes.The Northern Quarter could soon be home to an 18-storey office building which will tower over its 1791 neighbour where the National Chartist Association was founded.
Stantec's Dan Ingram said the new plans proposed "an harmonious solution", taking into consideration the wishes of local residents, with a shallower gradient and kissing gates at the entry points.Plans for a 57-home residential development could be coming to a historic farm site.
