Baby's first Met. Everyone wants an invite to Met Gala 2024, and each year a new crop of first time Met Gala attendees takes the carpet. Fashion ’s biggest and most exclusive night means you’re stepping into a new level of stardom, so it's a coveted invitation for many celebrities to receive. For many that fame is only the beginning. Popular K-pop group Stray Kids made their Met Gala 2024 debut wearing Tommy Hilfiger.
The 2024 Met Gala will celebrate the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” The official dress code of the night is “The Garden of Time.” This year’s exhibit will highlight roughly 250 “rare items” drawn from the Costume Institute’s permanent collection. Spanning over 400 years of fashion history, the pieces will include designs by Schiaparelli, Dior, Givenchy, and many others.
