It sees all appointments cancelled for three months, with people continuing to receiveThe procedures will run as normal, but those using the system no longer need to attend any meetings in person.The job centres remain open, and will continue to provide services for those lacking phones or the internet, such as the homeless.
Other changes see those affected by coronavirus able to receive up to a month’s advance up front without physically attending a jobcentre.
