it is celebrating its tenth anniversary in the city and you can soak up the Bavarian culture in style during October
Dig out your lederhosen and grab a stein of specially-brewed German beer as the legendary German food and drink festival Oktoberfest returns to Manchester for its tenth anniversary.
The vibrant celebration of all things beer, bratwurst and Bavarian - returns to the city this October at Platt Fields Park from October 13 to 14. It has only missed once year since it began due to the pandemic lockdown in 2020. "In our venues, you can experience everything that makes Manchester's Oktoberfest. We will bring you the feeling of being in an authentic Oktoberfest tent.”
Alongside the 23,000 litres of beer brought over from Bavaria and served in classic steins, there will also be cider, wine and soft drinks available. But, it is not all about beer and bratwurst though, as, alongside the authentic Bavarian food and drink, there will also be music to create a real party atmosphere.
