Buckingham Palace confirmed that a memorial would be taking place back in December. At the time, the Palace said: "The Queen has agreed that a Service of Thanksgiving for the life of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, will take place in the spring of 2022 at Westminster Abbey." Westminster Abbey and the Chapel Royal Choirs will provide music throughout the course of the service, which, according to the BBC's website, will feature "readings and music close to the duke’s heart."
Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindall, Peter Phillips, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn are all said to be on the guest list.
