Hurting Ally McCoist strongly rejected any notion Rangers' stuttering stars should be admonished as he offered a wider audience a peek into the ongoing woe at Ibrox.
The Ibrox legend was asked to further explain his opinion on the club he loves and he refused to hold back. Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: "What do you want me to say, we're hopeless? We're not very good. We need to get a bit of stability at the top, straight away, what he said after the game was definitely factually correct, but the fact of the matter is, performance levels were poor. Really, really poor.
Despite his myriad of concerns, McCoist jumped all over any notion that couldn't have been mustered by Clement's players on Sunday at Rugby Park. He added: "One hundred per cent, don't take that for a minute, players have got to look at themselves, it was a shocking performance, don't think I'm sidestepping the issue and not giving the players any stick. Poor midfield, shocking goal to lose and never created nearly enough.
