Amanda Holden says she was snubbed by Phillip Schofield after trying to reconnect
Amanda Holden has claimed she extended an olive branch to Phillip Schofield over their infamous rift - but says he ghosted her.
Speaking to her co-star Jamie Theakston on their Heart Breakfast radio show on Wednesday, Amanda, 52, said that she had tried to smooth things over with the TV star in 2019 by asking him to meet for a coffee, but revealed that he "didn't reply". Having been Holly's maternity cover in 2014, Amanda was said to be keen to step in for her again while she was in the jungle, but Phil was rumoured to have campaigned for Rochelle to get the job instead, with claims he felt she was easier to "manage" on air.“She is ITV’s golden girl and has always been a firm favourite with This Morning.
Since then, Amanda has appeared to have made a number of digs at Phil including during the 2022 queuegate scandal which saw Phil and Holly criticised for seeming to jump the queue at the Queen's lying in state - although they insisted they had media passes to join a different line.
