Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden expresses shock and concern after hearing about fellow presenter Davina McCall's recent brain tumour diagnosis. Amanda shares her feelings in an interview, highlighting Davina's kindness and the impact the news had on her.

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has shared her reaction to the news of her fellow presenter Davina McCall's brain tumour diagnosis. Davina, known for her roles on ITV shows such as Long Lost Family and The Masked Singer, discovered the colloid cyst during a complimentary health scan following a talk she gave on menopause. In a recent interview post-surgery, Davina expressed how the tumour made her feel 'every day like I'm in danger', which initially sparked anger within her.

Amanda, who was deeply affected by the health scares of two close celebrity friends - Heart Radio co-host Jamie Theakston and Davina - opened up about her feelings in an interview with Daily Mail. She confessed: 'It knocked me for six. I can definitely call her a friend, but we've never really socialised. But then when I saw the news on her Instagram I was shocked. And with Jamie on top of that you just think, 'This is all going to s***'. I checked in on Davina,' Amanda continued. 'She's possibly the nicest person in our industry. She's the best hugger and has great energy. You know how we all like good gossip or a good slag-off of somebody – Davina isn't interested in all that, she's perfect in every way.' Davina has since reassured fans of her wellbeing and pledged to 'move on' with her life after discussing her brain surgery in an emotional interview, reports the Mirror. In a candid episode of her Begin Again podcast, TV host Davina McCall was interviewed by close pal Steven Bartlett for an emotional one hour and 45-minute conversation on YouTube. Having undergone brain tumour surgery just last November, Davina's responses were incredibly heartfelt, making the chat seem quite raw at times. Underneath the YouTube video, she left viewers a note: 'I just want to say that I'm in a really good place, and this podcast was part of that journey,' providing context for any tears shed in the interview. On her personal Instagram, she shared another clip saying: 'My interview about my experiences with having brain surgery goes out today. Steven Bartlett interviews me. I asked Steven if he would do that because I know him. I feel very safe with him. I was at the Flight Studios office and I feel very safe there. I'm surrounded by love.' Emphasizing her desire to move forward, she added, 'This is a moment of time in my life that I don't want bang on about again and again and again. I don't want to be defined by this operation. I've had this operation, I'm very fortunate and it was a success and I'm gonna now move on with my life. Obviously I am going to talk about the learnings of it and stuff that I've got from it, but I wanted to also kind of document .it.' She found a unique way to cope, even naming the tumour Jeffrey. To keep spirits high and lessen the weight of her situation, she threw parties for Jeffrey. 'I'm grateful. Life will never be the same again, but in rather a good way,' the TV presenter shared, emotionally opening up in her first interview since her surgery in November
