Amanda Holden has unveiled her first tattoo - but it seems that her husband, Chris Hughes, is not a fan of the inking, which the Britain's Got Talent judge got on a whim
Amanda Holden has unveiled her first ever tattoo, much to the dismay of her husband. The 53 year old mum-of-two proudly displayed the tiny twin hearts inked on her wrist during her Heart Breakfast show on Wednesday, November 6. She shared that the spontaneous decision to get inked happened while she was in Hollywood for Halloween with her daughter Holly and best friend Jane, expressing her delight with the finished result.
Amanda recalled: "Obviously, my 18-year-old is home, I made a roast dinner. I was pretending to mop my brow because my tattoo is actually just on my wrist. Because, you know, I was sort of slaving over a stove as I was talking to Chris. I had my hand like that, just nothing. Anyway, Holly was losing her mind because she was obviously present for the tattoo moment, which didn't hurt and took less than 30 seconds. Anyway, in the end, we told Chris.
"First, he would say, it looks fake. Second, he said it looks naff. And third, he said: 'Oh, what's going to happen next? Where else are you going to get one? What else are you going to do?'" Amanda explained that the two hearts symbolise her daughters, Hollie and Lexi, and she plans to add another heart beneath her tattoo, presumably representing her husband, reports the Mirror.
Chris recently issued his glamorous wife with a warning, telling her "you've got to stop" after she confessed to a controversial move. Amanda admitted she had already completed her Christmas shopping in October, with the final parcel set to drop through her door on Wednesday. And while the Britain's Got Talent judge seemed delighted by the news on her breakfast show, her husband Chris is apparently less enthusiastic.
Amanda's confession came as caller Ashley revealed she was "so excited" when she spotted her first Christmas tree of winter 2024 while stuck in traffic on Old Kent Road in London. That prompted Amanda to reveal: "Everything's going up in my house on November 15. I might go even earlier. And I've finished my Christmas shopping.
