The post was met with excitement from Instagram users, keen to see the venue for themselves
Baltic Bookstore is based at the new Red Brick Market, which recently opened to the public. The shopping destination first launched five years ago and quickly established itself as a firm favourite among fashion lovers, music fans, homeware enthusiasts and more.
Neil Mahoney, owner of the stall, told the ECHO: "I've been reading and collecting books and comics for around 50 years. I started Baltic Bookstore after retiring early in 2020. There is a real appetite in the city for high quality used books and vintage comics. I'm very lucky to be able to combine my love for books and comics with a successful business."
Instagram In a post unveiling the new stall on Instagram, Baltic Bookstore advised shoppers to "check out the amazing alternative and independent shopping and lifestyle on offer", adding: "All traders have pulled out all the stops to bring you a unique retail experience unlike anything else in the city".
