, somehow, something great from DC is about to arrive on Amazon Prime Video. That would be Batman: Caped Crusader. It’s out imminently, out on August 1.
The series has brought back Timm himself as a creator, along with JJ Abrams and Matt Reeves. The show already has a second season planned, after a somewhat rocky start where it was originally in development on Cartoon Network and HBO Max. That didn’t pan out, but the show was shopped around and eventually picked up by Amazon.
