Some shoppers have taken to social media to share how the cost of shipping items is more than the product
Amazon shoppers who think they have found a sweet bargain when shopping online are being urged to check the small print for any extra delivery charges.
Heather Teece told the money-saving group that she was excited to find the sweet deal, which had been reduced from £3.49, only to find out that she had actually paid an extra £31.99 for the delivery. She wrote: "Got really excited when I saw the price of the big bars of dairy milk on Amazon..... It was minimum 2 buy.... Look what shipping jumped to."
Becky Smith said: "They did this with se body spray I was looking for.. On my account its was showing 41p a tin . Tried it on prime, was available on prime and stated free delivery until my dad went to check out and they asked for 35.99 postage. Luckily he noticed before purchasing so obviously we never bothered.."
