Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Koji Haneda has reiterated his country’s commitment to “quality and speedy implementation” of Japan-supported projects under President Rodrigo Duterte’s “Build Build Build” program.
Haneda made this pitch during his presentation at the 45th Philippine Business Conference and Expo in the historic Manila Hotel last week.
On top of the infrastructure projects, the Japanese envoy told some 800 participants in the event that Japan’s public and private sectors are also joining hands in developing the huge potential of Filipino workers, and forging closer people-to-people ties in tourism.
