Police say the road closure is likely to remain in place beyond school pick up times
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service confirmed “no one was taken from scene” of the Newtownards Road collision on Friday morning, November 18.
A NIAS spokesperson told Belfast Live: "The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 08:30 on Friday, 18 November 2022 following reports of an RTC on the Newtownards Road area, Belfast."No one was taken from scene." "Diversions are in place from Island Street/Dee Street junction, traffic will be diverted along Dee Street towards Mersey Street/Sydenham Bypass and at Belvoir Street along the Lower Newtownards Road.
