An American woman living in Yorkshire has shared her controversial thoughts on some of our beloved British sweets - and people are not happy with what she has to say
An American influencer who's settled in the UK has made waves with her sassy take on classic British sweets.
Affectionately known as 'Yorkshire Peach' to her whopping 1.2 million TikTok followers, Lisa shares her transatlantic adventures and candid commentary on all things quintessentially British. But Kinder wasn't the only casualty in her candy critique. Lisa also took a swipe at Maynard Bassetts Jelly Babies. Despite being a self-confessed sweet-tooth with a love for jelly beans and chewy treats, she confessed: "You guys are mad about these, I can't stand them! I love sweets, I love jelly beans, I love chewy sweets but the consistency of these is just wrong. I can't explain it.
If these revelations weren't controversial enough, Lisa also hates After Eights. She said: "Mint and chocolate. No, again, they don't belong. They don't belong in ice cream together, it's like toothpaste in a chocolate bar. You just wouldn't?"
