A couple with a huge online following visited Southport Food and Drink Festival, sampling a range of Liverpool-based food traders as they continued documenting their travels online.
, and Taylor Marin, from Phoenix, Arizona, have been together for nearly six years after first meeting in Australia. After spending four years living down under, they returned to their respective home countries and later went viral by sharing their relationship content online. The pair have amassed more than 15.2 million likes on TikTok and around 500,000 followers across social media, with their content focusing on days out, food reviews and shared experiences.
Alex’s dry Northern humour often contrasts with Taylor’s upbeat and bubbly personality. Food and Drink Festival, a popular annual event in the coastal town which showcases independent traders offering a wide range of food, drink, handmade goods and treats. More than 100 traders and exhibitors took part in the festival, but the couple headed first for Liverpool-based coffee trader Kirkby Coffee.
They then visited Lenny’s Breakfast van, where Alex enjoyed a bacon and egg brioche, describing it as “exactly what I needed. ” Taylor added: “Is it always this windy in Southport? ” before the pair moved on to The Bus Yard for drinks, theThe Bus Yard, originally based at Crosby Marina, is a popular summer venue and also operates at Liverpool ONE’s Chavasse Park, Taskers in Aintree and Princes Dock, with a new site planned for Wallasey beach.

The food and drink festival was amazing, so many vendors, it’s hard to even choose what to eat all day. ” Alex added: “That was the biggest problem, genuinely. If you look at all the food they’ve got you just think ‘what do I want? ’ and the answer is always probably all of it. ”
