Frictional Games has announced that Amnesia: The Bunker is now releasing in May...
in March, but developer Frictional Games has now said that it'll launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on May 16th.While it's unclear why Frictional Games has changed the release date for Amnesia: The Bunker, its original release date would have seen the horror game competing against the likes of the Resident Evil 4 remake and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, as well as upcoming Game Pass additions, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and MLB The Show 23, so the date change is probably for the best.
Amnesia: The Bunker follows the story of a French soldier named Henri Clement in World War One, who, upon being separated from his battalion, finds himself trapped within an abandoned bunker occupied by a dark creature. Clement must stumble through the maze-like corridors of the bunker and outsmart the creature hunting him down. Much like the previous Amnesia games, The Bunker is a psychological horror game that focuses on player choice and unscripted scenes. Good luck.
