Ruben Amorim has grand plans to overhaul Man United's identity.
Head coach Ruben Amorim is cherishing the opportunity to take charge of Manchester United at Old Trafford for the very first time ahead of tonight's Europa League clash with Bodo/Glimt.
"It will be special, but it will be more special if we win," said Amorim, speaking to United's in-house media ahead of his first home game in charge. Amorim, in his post-match press conference, conceded that it will require time for United's players to adapt to his methods and way of playing. However long it takes, the general feeling is that Amorim will achieve his mission.
"We are one of the most dynamic and entertaining teams in the league at this moment," Ten Hag told BBC Match of the Day after the 1-1 draw with Burnley in April. "We are creating loads of chances by playing good football.United were often entertaining last season - but not in the way anybody associated with the club wanted them to be. Their games often drew parallels with what you would be comfortable watching on a basketball court, with games ebbing and flowing at 100mph.
