Amy Dowden was diagnosed with cancer in May and is unable to take part in Strictly Come Dancing due to her chemotherapy treatment.
The Strictly Come Dancing professional, 33, was first diagnosed with aggressive stage three breast cancer in May after finding a lump while preparing for her honeymoon with husband Ben Jones. The dancer has been keeping fans updated on her journey, after previously stating she was halfway through her treatment.
It comes as Amy has recently admitted she has been struggling with the side effects of her chemotherapy treatment which has resulted in hair loss and started to take a toll on her body. She explained beloved husband Ben Jones has been brushing her hair for her as the star can then distance herself from the awareness of how much hair she is losing after admitting it has left her feeling "distraught."
Trying to stay positive, she added: "I think I cry less now. To begin with, it was every day, but now I have meltdowns when I wash my hair once a week. For the last two weeks now, I haven't brushed my hair and that has definitely helped.
