Amy Schumer has addressed the comments she received about her 'puffy face,' which was caused by the hormonal disorder Cushing's syndrome.
'The people who like me are not going to care if my face is puffy. Everyone has moments of self-doubt. I rose up and was like:"F*** it, let’s go,"' she told Variety. In response to the remarks she received, she decided to disclose that she had been diagnosed with Cushing's syndrome. Amy shares a four-year-old son called David with her husband, chef Chris Fischer, whom she has been married to since 2018.
In response to the remarks she received, including for her Tonight Show appearance , she disclosed that she had been diagnosed with Cushing's syndrome Amy plays a woman who starts wearing a false baby bump out of envy for a pregnant friend - only for the charade to be thrown into jeopardy when she falls in love.
'This is a very different project for me, because I wear so many hats,' she said. 'I’m learning more and getting better at it, and it makes me feel like I’m on the right path.'
