EXCLUSIVE: Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh says her big day with Toby-Alexander Smith was 'poignant' and 'emotional' as she was joined by her father who's been diagnosed with cancer
Amy Walsh is officially a married woman after saying 'I do' to her EastEnders actor partner Toby-Alexander Smith on August 30. And while the day was always going to be special, it was made even more poignant by the attendance of her father, John.
“My dad isn’t very well and we weren’t sure until the 11th hour if he would be able to come,” explained a visibly upset Amy. Amy's mum Diane, who separated from John when Amy was two, gave a speech at the reception, with the actress saying it was important to have her “wonderful mum” front and centre.
