Amy Winehouse's turbulent and tragic life to be turned into eight-part TV drama
was classed as a musical genius - but her behaviour continued to threaten her career as she took multiple trips to rehab.
In a bid to create her third album away from temptations, Amy spent eight months on a Caribbean island in 2009 where she wrote songs and recorded them - the album was sadly never released.She was due to tour around Europe but was slammed for beingHalcyon Studio chief executive, David Ellender, said: "Although her career was cut far too short, Amy was the voice of a generation and we look forward to telling her story in the most poignant way possible.
