A two-bedroom Edwardian weatherboard in Melbourne’s south-east with a large bungalow studio in the backyard.Artist and lighting designer Moya Delany, her restaurateur husband Jason Buesst, their son Monty, 14, and dog Lucy.“We updated the bathroom, replaced cupboard doors and benchtops in the kitchen, limewashed all the floors and built the bungalow,” says Delany.
The exterior paint colour is “Bunny Soft” by Dulux and the chairs are from Leonard Joel Auctions.“I’m influenced by my father, who was a globetrotter in the 1950s. My art is about travel and adventure, and collecting original artefacts is a big part of what I do.”“We tiled the kitchen walls right up to the cornice to completely strip the 1980s features,” says Delany. The kitchen cupboard kickboards are brass.
