Those of us who, for one reason or another, aren’t lucky enough to have season tickets anymore, clung to the hope that changes in theAt the time of writing that sadly doesn’t look to be the case, but until the tickets for the first match of the season go on sale, it’s not too late for change.
2) Change tickets so that they’re only valid if the linked Membership Card is also present on the phone. We all know that tickets and Membership Cards can only be associated with one Google / Apple account and that any transfer after downloading needs assistance from the Box Office so by adding this rule it would further prevent reselling. Granted this may be more technically challenging to put in from the start of the season but it should at least be considered.
4) Have a cooldown period before any new members can enter ballots. Once an individual cup match is drawn or ballot date is advertised, only existing members should be able to participate in it as this will prevent all but the most organised of away fans paying £37 each to try and win. Newwill simply need to wait for the next match.
