Anbernic's dizzying run of retro handheld releases continues with the reveal of the RG Cube, which has a square screen and T820 chip.
Anbernic has had a busy year so far, releasing a variety of retro gaming handhelds in just about every configuration imaginable. First, we got the RG35XX H, which flipped the vertical RG35XX on its side for a sleek horizontal control setup. Next came the powerful Anbernic RG556 with an AMOLED display, the minuscule RG28XX, and a GBA SP clone dubbed the RG35XXSP. All of those devices launched in the first half of 2024, but Anbernic isn't done yet.
But unlike the RGB30, which comes with the RK3566 chip, the RG Cube is equipped with the same powerful Unisoc T820 processor that powers the RG556.
