Less than one week after Anchorage leaders said they would only continue clearing homeless camps for “health and safety risks,” Assembly members are expected to take up two proposals Tuesday which would impact camping and shelter rules.

Another resolution from the Anchorage Health Department would increase the 56th Avenue shelter to 200 people, including appropriating funding to allow the shelter to be used through the end of June.
