Just days after a fourth officer-involved shooting within 40 days, the Anchorage Police Department revealed that the SWAT team that responded to the incident was not equipped with body cameras.

The press conference mirrored the statement initially released by police. The only new information learned was that the SWAT team that responded to the incident was not equipped with body cameras. “The department has been researching body-worn cameras designed to work with SWAT gear and we are still in the process of determining what cameras would work best.”
