Michael Andretti is targeting a Le Mans and WEC programme with his eponymous team, alongside his F1 aspirations ⬇️
WTR and Andretti Autosport have revealed a plan to expand its Acura attack in the IMSA SportsCar Championship to two cars next year, and then turn its attention to Europe – targeting the biggest sportscar race of all, the Le Mans 24 Hours.
When ask if he wanted to race at Le Mans, Andretti replied: “100 percent – that is a definite goal for us. #10 Konica Minolta Acura ARX-06 Acura ARX-06: Ricky Taylor, Filipe Albuquerque, Louis Deletraz, Brendon HartleyTaylor added: “From my perspective, [Le Mans] is the one major sportscar race that we haven’t won overall, so there’s no doubt that’s a major focus for all of us here. That’s where we want to be.”
