Andrew Neil quits as Spectator chairman as GB News investor Paul Marshall seals deal to buy the world's oldest magazine
Neil said he had been excluded from the sale process since campaigning vocally against RedBird’s Gulf-financed attempted takoever. They were sold to media consortium RedBird IMI, a group backed by the United Arab Emirates and US investment firm RedBird, through a call option worth £600m.
