Pierce and his co-host Sarah Vine have now hit out at Sir Keir Starmer on their podcast, suggesting that the Labour leader 'looks like he's bullying' veteran MP Diane Abbott.
Diane Abbott was mistreated by Labour and should be made a peer by Rishi Sunak , Andrew Pierce has told the Mail's talk show, The Reaction.
The commentators agreed that the prime minister could make life 'difficult' for Sir Keir by making Abbott, who Pierce described as an 'unlikely martyr', a member of the House of Lords. He said Starmer's agenda on the campaign trail had been the NHS, but that 'they've completely unravelled because it's the first big gaffe by Starmer - and who would have thought Diane Abbott of all people.'
The pair agreed that Abbott is 'often the victim of prejudice,' with Pierce contending that the London representative had been 'subjected to more online abuse than any other of the 650 MPs.'
