Andy Murray faces nightmare second round Wimbledon draw if he beats fellow Brit
Andy Murray faces a first round clash at Wimbledon against fellow Brit Ryan Peniston.
If he passes that test then the two-time Wimbledon champion will face former US Open champion Dominic Thiem or Stefanos Tsitsipas in the second round.Peniston reached the second round of Wimbledon last yearthis year, which would have meant avoiding some of the biggest names until the third round. The 36-year-old was ranked 39th in the world at the time of the seedings and needed just a few more withdrawals to make it in.
He could have got there with a good run at Queen's, but lost to finalist Alex De Minaur in the first round. As ever with Murray, he will have to battle the hard way to make a run at the All England Club and we'd never bet against him.
