Andy Whyment has confirmed he will be returning to Coronation Street after his exit from I'm A Celebrity South Africa. Andy was axed from the show on Monday, May 8, alongside Made in Chelsea personality Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo.
He said: "I’ve seen a lot of people come and go, thinking they’re going to go on to bigger and better things but Corrie for me is my number one, it always has and always will be." He told the Sun. “I grew up watching it as a kid and when I drive up to those barriers in the morning and they lift them up, I think ‘I'm still working on Coronation Street'.“If I’d told myself growing up I’d be there 23 years, it’s amazing and touch wood many more years to come.
"I never thought I would say that, but I really did. I think when you make a special friend like I did last time, you're seeking it out. I love the company of older people, I think it's a privilege to be around them."
