Spurs’ supporters will protest outside the stadium over the club’s decision to increase matchday ticket prices before the Manchester United game.
Postecoglou said: “To be fair it’s not an unusual space for me. I know people talk about the treble I won at Celtic but the beginnings at Celtic were very similar.
“I think that is their right and they have earnt their right to do that. My role within that is to try produce a team that gets us united to what’s most important. A period of discontent has occurred since and Harry Kane’s exit on the eve of the season has turned up the heat on the club’s board, but there is overwhelming support for new boss Postecoglou.
“I haven’t yet delivered anything. Hopefully when the day comes that we deliver as a team it will mean something different then.
