Escape To The Chateau star Angel Strawbridge has broken her silence on why she launched a foul-mouthed tirade at a Channel 4 colleague in an audio leaked last year
Angel Strawbridge has opened up about the reasons behind her explosive tirade against a colleague from Escape To The Chateau, which was leaked last year. In the recording, the 46-year-old is heard calling the unnamed individual a "f***ed up little c***" and demanding they leave her property.
The star of Escape To The Chateau, during her appearance on Elizabeth Day's How To Fail podcast, revealed: "We had so many amazing people filming Escape to the Chateau but in this particular quite small time frame had someone who wasn't particularly very nice. His behaviour was completely unacceptable."
On the day the audio was recorded, the mother-of-two claimed she was "set up" by him intentionally. She explained: "The way he was acting was how he's never acted with me before." The mother-of-two admitted she hasn't listened back to the audio as it makes her "feel sick", but knows from her friends that he "took out" what he had said to her beforehand to provoke her.
She described feeling uncontrollably shaken by the incident, yet resolute in her reaction: "What's interesting is, I was the one in the wrong for losing my temper and I will not apologise. He was so disrespectful in our house, he was so upsetting to me and my family."On the subject of the leaked audio, Angel speculated: "I think because we had just finished Escape To The Chateau, people think we were weak, I'm not really quite sure.
