The actor braved The Grove—a Los Angeles tourist trap of one-time mayoral candidate Rick Caruso’s making—in a pair of shoes that not many others may have chosen for a shopping outing. Jolie was joined by her daughter, Zahara, for their trip to Nordstrom and Diptyque. For the occasion, Jolie stuck to her go-to outfit formula: She wore a black midi dress layered under a black coat of the same calf-grazing length.
She added some equally timeless accessories to her look: a pair of oversized black sunglasses, drop earrings, and her longtime favorite Celine clasp bag, from Phoebe Philo’s stint as creative director. But no Angelina Jolie look would be complete without her beloved peach-hued pumps from Christian Louboutin. The Atelier Jolie founder regularly rocks a nude Dolly 85 patent leather pump with the telltale red sole.
