KSI launched the energy drink alongside his business partner and fellow YouTuber, Logan Paul
KSI, who launched Prime alongside business partner Logan Paul, has hit out at a Yorkshire store for charging "insane" prices for the energy drink.
Prime has been a huge success across the UK, with people queuing up to buy the drink at various stores following its release. However, some retailers have bulk bought the product and have been charging high prices. One woman from Sheffield travelled to Wakey Wines where they bought 12 cans of Prime for an eye-watering £1,200. Now, KSI has waded into the debate on prices in an interview on talkSPORT Breakfast.When asked about the response to the drink by talkSPORT, he said: "I thought it would do OK, because it had me and Logan Paul promoting it and we both have very big fanbases.
He said: "I hate it. There’s a guy called ‘Wakey Wines’ and I don’t know if it’s a joke or not, but either way it’s terrible practice.Wakey Wines has been attracting customers from across the country with two lads travelling 200 miles from Edinburgh just to get their hands on Prime. The drink is made of coconut water, sweeteners, vitamins and fruity liquid. Some frenzied fans have queued up for hours to get their hands on it.
In a video posted to his TikTok account KSI reacted to a video of the Wakey Wines selling packs of the energy drink. After the clip he shouted: "No! He can't keep getting away with this!YorkshireLive has approached Wakey Wines owner Mohammad Azar Nazir for comment.
