Curtis shared that she’s “even more inspired” to join the Tokyo marathon since she will be raising funds to help child victims of violence, abuse and exploitation, done in partnership with United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund Philippines, according to a follow-up post.
“Running with a purpose has always made each [kilometer] even more meaningful. And for my [third] marathon in Tokyo on March 5, I’m dedicating it to help raise funds for child victims of violence, abuse and exploitation,” she said.Fellow celebrities including Pia Wurtzbach, Bea Alonzo, Jericho Rosales, Angelica Panganiban, Charlene Gonzales, and Enchong Dee expressed their support for Curtis’ upcoming participation in the Tokyo marathon.
Curtis was appointed as a celebrity advocate of UNICEF Philippines back in April 2018, where she completed the 2018 . At that time, she raised funds for the agency’s emergency response program for children living in Marawi City.last Feb. 17, where she wowed netizens with her toned physique.
