Rather than dabbing her blemishes with a cream, or popping them—the shock! the horror!—the Oscar winner, instead, went the demure route and added a cluster of colorful pimple patches to her face.
On Friday, Hathaway shared what might be her most relatable social media moment ever with a makeup-free selfie on Instagram. In the snapshot, the actress sat in her car while dressed in a blue crewneck seater, a denim baseball cap, and oversized black sunglasses, as well as two star-shaped stickers on her face .
She did, however, add a few disclaimers. “You can overdo this, you can push too hard. It’s meant to be a gentle thing you don’t do longer than 30 seconds," she explained. "Don’t stab yourself. If you’ve drawn blood you’ve gone too far. It’s not a vampire LipTok. It's just a little something to wake your upper lip up.
