Open and free to the public, this unique event allows art enthusiasts, the community and tourists to meet and engage with local artists, discover emerging talent, and enjoy a weekend exploring the arts.
“The Public Art Squad Project’s mission and goal is to foster cultural, social and political awareness and change through artistic expression, development and creativity by presenting art related programs and events,” according to the Public Art Squad Project’s website. At the Preview Exhibition Reception, the public will be able to meet the artists and preview their work on Thursday, June 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Chelsea Building 12th Penthouse Gallery.
