Symptoms of listeriosis could include fever, chills, muscle aches, diarrhea or upset stomach, headache, stiff neck, confusion, and loss of balance. Furthermore, pregnant women are about 10 times more likely to get listeriosis than other healthy adults. So far, there have been no illnesses or consumer complaints reported in connection with the cucumber recall. The notice advised consumers to discard the products, which they added was already past their shelf life.
