Another day, another huge plan for a corner of ever-changing Salford
More than 200 swanky apartments close to Middlewood Locks in Salford could be built. Proposals worked up by the Canal and Rivers Trust and Bloc could see the car park site off Oldfield Road and Upper Wharf Street.
“We’re excited to unveil our proposals for a high-quality residential development which will make a significant contribution to the delivery of new homes in a highly sustainable location.” Other scheme built or under construction nearby include Salboy’s Local Crescent, and the first and second phases of Outwood Wharf, where 296 homes are currently bei.ng built.
