Get ready for more dark humor and unexpected twists as Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively reprise their roles in 'Another Simple Favor,' the highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 hit film. The movie follows Stephanie and Emily on a luxurious trip to Capri for Emily's wedding, but as you might expect, things are not as they seem. Expect murder, betrayal, and plenty of surprises along the way.
Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively are reuniting for the sequel to their hit 2019 black comedy , A Simple Favor. Titled Another Simple Favor , the film picks up with Stephanie Smothers (Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Lively) on the glamorous island of Capri , Italy, for Emily's extravagant wedding to a wealthy Italian businessman. The cast is rounding out with familiar faces from the first film, including Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Satine, and Ian Ho.
Joining them are new additions such as Allison Janney, Michele Morrone, and Elizabeth Perkins, alongside Kelly McCormack and Taylor Ortega.Directed by Paul Feig, who also helmed the original, Another Simple Favor promises to be just as darkly comedic and twisty as its predecessor. The film will premiere at the 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival in March and will be released on Amazon Prime Video on May 1st, 2025
