After a tenure spanning over two decades, ITV weekend staple Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway will come an end next month, with a very special star-studded two hour finale
Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway is set to finish with a fabulous finale next month, after two decades of lighthearted fun on screen. The brilliant TV show, loved by viewers for more than 20 years, will conclude with a special two-hour episode to be filmed throughout the entire TV Centre in London.
He continued: "This series has been very special to make and we're looking forward to making the last show a party to end all parties. The SNT production team have been working non stop to ensure this special, two hour finale has that SNT magic from start to finish." He then added: "We're giving it a rest for now, but we'll take away and treasure some very special memories and moments. We will most certainly miss it." It is thought the duo are stepping away from the show to pursue other projects and to focus more on their families.
Ant and Dec are set to face their own pranks in a hilarious segment called Get Out Of Me Ear: The Revenge. Celebrities who have been tricked in the past will now get the chance to tell Ant and Dec what to do through an earpiece, promising lots of laughs.
