This year's Britain's Got Talent live shows have kicked off and show hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were quick to reference Ant's rather horrible fall last year
Last year's Britain's Got Talent live shows got off to a rather awkward start when Ant McPartlin suffered a "heavy fall" live on-air. The TV presenter took a tumble following the show's opening dance number - which was performed by 2009 winners, London-based dance group Diversity, fronted by Dancing On Ice judge, Ashley Banjo.
And with the live shows making their return this week, the presenting duo have revealed that gift that Dec gave his pal in order to avoid the same fate as last year. As Ant opened the gift, Dec quipped that he'd got him something "that might come in handy." A confused Ant then asked: "What are these?" while holding up some shoe grips.
Ant's appearance on the BGT live shows is the first time he has returned to work following the birth of his son Wilder two weeks ago. The presenter became a dad for the first time last week after welcoming his baby son into the world with wife Anne-Marie.
