Manchester-born official Anthony Taylor will officiate Liverpool's trip to Manchester United on Sunday
Anthony Taylor has been appointed referee for Liverpool's blockbusting Premier League clash at Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
While they beat Newcastle United 4-2 at home on New Year's Day, Jurgen Klopp's side were held to draws at Chelsea and Brighton and were later beaten 3-1 at Arsenal, with Taylor angering Klopp with the late dismissal of Ibrahima Konate.READ MORE: Liverpool could make four changes against Sheffield United as two players prepare to return
Taylor has taken charge of two previous meetings between the Reds and bitter North West rivals Manchester United, the first of which was a goalless draw at Anfield in October 2016.
