Anti-vax nurse ‘injected up to 8,600 elderly patients with useless saline instead of Covid vaccine’
AN anti-vax nurse may have injected up to 8,600 elderly patients with a saline solution instead of a Covid-19 vaccine, German say.
The Red Cross nurse is suspected of injecting salt solution into people’s arms instead of genuine doses at a vaccination centre in Friesland – a rural district near the North Sea coast – in the early spring. “Today I had the sad duty to inform around 8,600 people who may have been affected that it cannot be ruled out they may have received a saline solution instead of their vaccination at their vaccination appointment. The nurse was able to replace the vials because she was “responsible for the preparation of vaccines and the preparation of syringes during her working hours in the vaccination center,” health authorities in Lower Saxony said.
Police investigator Peter Beer, speaking earlier at a news conference covered by German media, said that based on witness statements there was “a reasonable suspicion of danger”.
