He has struggled to acclimatise to the demands of English football and you would struggle to find many United fans who are in favour of him having a third term at Old Trafford.
Yet Antony's praise for Ten Hag's ability to improve players suggested he would continue developing under the coach who brought him to Europe from Brazil in 2020. He excelled in the Netherlands, but such hopes of maintaining that progression in England have long since stalled.
