The series will be based on Marissa Stapley's bestselling novel of the same name, which is also a pick or Reese's Book Club. Both Reese and Anya have spoken out about what making Lucky means to them.
What is Lucky about? According to Apple's synopsis, “In Lucky, Taylor-Joy stars as a young woman who left behind the life of crime she was raised in years ago, but must now embrace her darker, criminal side one final time in a desperate attempt to escape her past.” We don't know how closely the TV series will adhere to the book's plot, but we're hoping it will be a close adaptation because the story is so compelling.
