It is now six defeats from seven matches away from home for Plymouth Argyle this season
Wayne Rooney expects Leeds United to be scrapping it out for automatic promotion this season. The former Manchester United striker made the admission after watching his Plymouth Argyle outfit be brushed aside with a minimum of fuss at Elland Road today.
Pilgrims head coach Rooney, who copped his fair share of flak from the home faithful, said: "Leeds are a fantastic team, difficult team to play against. From our point of view we're trying to improve. We've got young lads coming on, it's a good atmosphere at a big club. It is now six defeats from seven matches away from home for Argyle this season. They have the worst away record in the English Football League, scoring just once on their travels.
